The Joint Entrance Examination Date for admission to 15 IITs, IT-BHU, Varanasi and ISM, Dhanbad has been announced.The forms are expected to available from the 3rd week of november.The exam will be conducted on 11th April.
Eligibility Criteria: A candidate should have passed Class XIIth exam or equivalent state board exams with 60% aggregate marks if he/she belongs to the general category and 55% if the candidate belongs to the SC/ST category.
And, the candidate should not be more than 25 years of age as on 1st october 2009.For SC/ST candidates this age limit is 30 years.
Below is the available information:
Date of examination: 11th April, 2010.
Date of availability of forms: 3rd week of November, 2009. (Tentative)
Last date for receipt of request for application form: 3rd week of December, 2009.
Last Date for receipt of completed application form: Last week of December, 2009.
Declaration of results: Last week of May, 2010.
Pattern of examination: There will be two papers of 3 hours duration each.Each paper will contain questions of maths, physics and chemistry. The questions will be of objective type with one or more options correct.
