What is the difference between gravitational force pair and contact force pair ?

Contact force pair refers to equal and opposite forces exerted by one body on another where the bodies are in contact with each other.

In the figure above you can see two blocks placed one over the other. The blocks are in contact with each other and both apply a force equal to the normal reaction on each other. This is a contact force pair.

Gravitational force pair refers to two equal and opposite gravitational forces exerted by one body on another body.

In the figure above, the ball exerts a gravitational force on the earth and the earth exerts a gravitational force on the ball. They constitute a gravitational force pair.

A gravitational force pair may or may not be a contact force pair.
