MHT-CET

General Information

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MHT-CET-2009 for all Health sciences, Engineering and Pharmay Degree Courses is conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. The Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra is the competent authority for Engineering and Parma Courses.

MHT CET 2010 is conducted for admission to the Govt./Govt. Aided colleges of Health Sciences degree courses, Govt./ Govt. Aided/ University Managed Colleges/ University Departments and Unaided Private Colleges (those colleges who have given consent to participate in MHT-CET 2009) of Engineering and Pharmacy degree Courses and BVSc & AH degree course.

Eligibility Criteria

Indian nationals passed or appearing in the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with Maths and English as the subjects at HSC or its equivalent examination and must have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for backward class category candidates from Maharashtra State only).

Outside Maharashtra candidates would be eligible to appear in the MHT-CET but they would be considered for admission to unaided private institutes only.

Goverment of Maharashtra shall conduct a single combined "Common Entrance Test"MHT-CET-2010 for all
Health Sciences,Engineering and Pharmacy degreecourses for the academic year 2010-2011.The Common Entrance Test
will be held on Thursday,6 May 2010.
