SMIT - UGET

General Information

The SMIT UGET is conducted for admission to the 4 year B.Tech and 5 year B.Tech MBA integrated course. Admission to the B.Tech courses of the Sikkim Manipal University is done through the AIEEE, State Govt. Test, SMU UGET, SAT/ Entrance Test at SMIT and through Lateral Entry.

Eligibility Criteria

For admission to the B.Tech courses through the SMIT UGET candidates need to pass the 12th standard with at least 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in Physics, Mathematics and chemistry (or Computer Science, Biotechnology, Biology as one of the optional subjects).

However candidates who have passed the diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education with at least 50% marks in aggregate are also eligible to apply for SMIT UGET.

Those who have appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply provisionally for the Sikkim Manipal University UGET.

Exam Pattern

The pattern of Test will be objective type multiple choice questions containing 80 from mathematics, 60 from physics, 60 from chemistry and 40 from General English.
