CEE - Delhi

General Information

The University of Delhi conducts a Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) for admission to First Semester of BE Courses in Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have passed Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by CBSE or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Delhi securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (50% or more marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, 55% or more marks for candidates belonging to CW (Defense)/Physically Handicapped Category).

Those appearing in the qualifying examination may also apply for the CEE.

Exam Pattern

The medium of examination is English. The test is conducted in Chemistry, Physics and Maths. It is based on the standard of Senior Secondary School Certificate examination conducted by CBSE.

Questions are of objective/ multiple types. Each question has multiple (four) choices. Correct answer is awarded four marks and one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. There are three papers of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of 60 questions.

Important Dates

The Application Form for CEE will be available from the Office of the following address only. On submission of a Pay Order or crossed Bank Draft of Rs. 400/- (including the cost of bulletin of information, application form and examination fee) for General/OBC/CW category and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST/PH category in favour of the Registrar, Delhi University, Delhi, drawn on any Bank from 2nd Week of March, 2010 between 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Lunch Break 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.) on all working days (Monday to Friday) as per the notification issued by the University.
